Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation [MMPRC] will be hosting a familiarization trip as a part of 260 marketing activities they have participated so far into 2022.
This familiarization trip will be specially hosted for leading travel agencies of India including I’m Travel Agent, Holiday Karma, MakeMyTrip, Nivalink, and Aspen Vacations. The representatives of these agencies are invited to stay from 16th of 22nd July 2022. Grand Park Kodhipparu, Crossroads Maldives and Hideaway Beach Resort & Spa has been chosen as the place for their stay where they will experience the one-of-a-kind Maldivian Hospitality. This stay inspired by authenticity will help the team to connect the Indian travelers with the island country and the stories it tells.
India currently being the lead market source for the Maldives with a total arrival count of 104,800 visitors. MMPRC aims to advertise the Maldives as the safest tourist destination with the world entering post pandemic stages by having the travel agencies spread the word about world-renowned experiences the coral fringed heaven offers. According to the statistics released by the ministry Indian tourists contributes to 14.8% of the total market source.
