The Maldives Marketing & Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/Visit Maldives) participated in the Access Luxury Travel Show, ALTS Prague 2023 was held on the 13th and the 14th of March. The ALTS Prague 2023 was hosted at Kaiserštejnský Palác in Prague, Czech Republic. Promoting the enthralling glamour of the Maldives, Visit Maldives was represented by Exitix Marketing to promote unique tourism products of the Maldives such as resorts, hotels, guesthouses, and liveaboards. Exitix marketing also advertised various segments of the Maldivian tourism industry, from a family vacation to the perfect honeymoon destination.
Bringing together corporate travel decision-makers, agents with VIP clients, potential investors in the field of hospitality and the travel industry, and other industry professionals from Eastern Europe, ALTS Prague is a two-day business-to-business (B2B) workshop.
Participating in ALTS Prague is a part of MMPRC’s strategy to boost the destination visibility of the Maldives in Eastern Europe and to ensure the momentum of arrivals is maintained across the summer months of 2023. With a total of 100,667 arrivals by 2022, Eastern Europe is a significant market for the Maldives. So far in 2023, arrivals from the region appear promising, with one of the top ten markets in the Maldives coming from this region. MMPRC carries out focused operations to promote the destination in this market. This year’s marketing initiatives for Eastern Europe include a Maldives roadshow series in Eastern European nations, cooperative marketing campaigns, and a webinar.
